I suffer from extremely frequent bouts of the hiccups (we're talking 1-3 bouts or more a day). Is that bad?

I just installed a click-lock floating floor in my living room, but I'm not sure what transition to use for an unusual feature. My living room has a small section near the fireplace (about 12' x 10') that is 6" lower than the rest of the room. I installed the flooring up to the edge of the upper level and the edge of the lower level (minus expansion gap) and plan to cover the riser by glueing flooring boards horizontally to it. My question is: what transition pieces should I use to transition from the upper flooring to the riser? A regular bullnose transition is not tall enough to hide the gap between the upper flooring and the top of the board that I will glue to the riser. I was thinking of an "L" shaped piece to cover the gap, but I haven't seen this type of transition for sale anywhere. Ok so I bought a pound of ground chicken for the first time recently and kept it in the freezer. I took it out this morning probably around 9 or 10 and put it on a plate in the sink (no water, in its packaging). I made dinner at 7 (having left the meat out that whole time) I have an irrational fear of vomit/vomiting and am now worried about this chicken that I ate this evening. I cooked to the proper temperature but am still worried as I know you aren't really supposed to thaw meat at room temperature, only slowly in the fridge. Having just said this, I want to know if anyone else thaws their chicken just on the counter or whatever all day, and if they have been fine. I just need to put my mind at ease. ..and yes in the future I will thaw in the fridge so I don't have to freak anymore. Thanks!

11mth old constipated even after prunes. Help!?

The doctor said at his 9mth ck up to give miralax once to twice daily. UGH! Hate giving meds. It helped, but only given a few times when I know he really trying to go. He drinks 4 oz of apple juice a day. Last 3 days he had a whole container of prunes w/ his cereal, and prune juice. He was having very firm stools. (most the time like "rocks"). People who have used burts bees products?

burts bees products are great; however, they do not cure acne/pores. The only proven acne treatment is Benzoyl peroxide. it's a three step regimen that works. 1. wash your face twice or thrice a day with a gentle, fragrance free face wash. 2. apply 2.5% or 10% BP. 3. apply a light moisturizer. Remember, acne is never curable period. You have to keep using BP if you wanna stay acne free for the rest of your life. If you use make up stop using it. At least foundation and stuff. Do not touch your skin if you can. like barely touch your skin. Never rub anything on your face. be very gentle with it. Acne.org gave me all these info; i'm not marketing or anything but after having tried almost everything out in the market (including burts) I followed the regimen in acne.org. first I bought their product, but now i have made my own regimen. i use nutrogena microclear facewash, 10% BP from walmart (costs about 5 bucks a tube), and olay moisturizer. i understand where you are coming from. It is very difficult to lose someone close to you and then having to be alone to pick up the pieces without them in your life especially if you were close to them. However taking your frustrations out on your boyfriend isn't the way to go about it. I understand you are hurting and you just want him to be there and granted he shouldn't act like that especially after what happened. Give it a couple days for him and you to cool off and then call him and explain how you are feeling without getting hostile about it. It is harder for someone who has never lost anyone to really understand what you are going through but he will be more willing to console you if you aren't yelling at him for not being there. its possible, i suggest you eat breakfast for one (at least something light like a smoothie). eat fruits and veggie, no high calorie snacks (Eddy's has some cool low fat ice cream). eat frequent, small portions or food, on some people that doesnt work, so also try eating larger portions but not as often. try walking or going outside more frequently. ask some friends to go hang out at the park or anywhere that involves a lot of movement. hope this helps

But don't overcrowd it, spread them on your bookshelf, same way. i would paint you walls either purple, a dark one, or a shade of brown. Then onto the walls. You should hang either some of your artwork, your favorite pieces of writings, or even glee things.all into frames, and collauge colleague for your bed, if you get to get one, should be a dark wood with a nice headboard, with red sheets and red quilt, with a nice pattern. and then if your so lucky, i would get a modern red couch with a cute little ottoman, leather or pleather, for in front of it. oh ya, and a t.v on the dresser, which should be dark brown

How do I move back or adjust my daughter's morning wake up time?

My first child is 14 months. She goes to sleep at 7:30 and sleeps like a champ. However, she will sometimes first wake up at 5:30 AM. This sometimes occurs because she has misplaced her pacifier or has a dirty diaper. We can generally get her back to sleep in her crib. However, no matter what, she wakes up about 5:55 AM and starts crying. We are in the routine of bringing her to bed where she will sometimes go back to sleep until 7:30...but will sometimes get restless. It is also tiring because she tosses and turns for a good 15 to 30 until she fully gets back to sleep. It also limits our space in bed. I'd like to know if there is a way to get her to sleep in her crib until 7 AM or so. I'm sure someone else has had a similar situation?
