Is Proposition 8 (Kaliforniya) overturned?

It was declared unconstitutional on August 4, 2010 by the US District Court for the Northern District of California (Perry v. Schwarzenegger). However, as a stay has been granted on the ruling, this will not take effect one way or another until the US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit rules on the appeal.
